Key Responsibilities for HVAC Technician:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment malfunctions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols in all HVAC work
Required Qualifications:
- Valid HVAC Technician certification or relevant trade qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation and maintenance
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical manuals
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and functions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations in Ontario
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies in the HVAC industry
Compensation & Benefits:
- The annual salary range for the HVAC Technician position at AtkinsRéalis is between $50,000 to $65,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications
