Key Responsibilities For Import/Export Coordinator:
- Coordinate import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth transportation of goods
- Track shipments, update stakeholders on delivery status, and address any delays or issues proactively
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring timely delivery

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export coordination or logistics operations
- Knowledge of Canadian customs regulations, tariffs, and trade compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with logistics software

Desired Skills:
- Certification in Supply Chain Management or International Trade
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills to address logistics challenges effectively
- Fluency in additional languages is an asset

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Import/Export Coordinator position at Purolator in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, is between $50,000 to $65,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
