Key Responsibilities For Information Security Engineer:
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls to protect Meta's systems and data from cyber threats.
- Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans to identify and address security risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor security incidents and respond to security breaches in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle of products and services.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to continuously enhance Meta's security posture.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in information security roles.
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, authentication, and access control technologies.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and firewalls.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with incident response and digital forensics.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application security.
