Position Summary The IT Manager at Berkshire Hathaway will oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure and systems. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic IT plans aligned with Berkshire Hathaway’s business goals. Lead and mentor IT staff, fostering a high-performance culture and professional development. Manage IT budgets, financial forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives. Ensure IT governance, compliance, and adherence to industry standards and regulations. Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs). Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to mitigate risks and protect data. Direct IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication. Manage cloud computing solutions, network infrastructure, and enterprise software systems. Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and business units. Required Qualifications 4 to 9 years of experience in IT management or a related leadership role. Proven expertise in strategic IT planning, budgeting, and financial management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience in IT governance, compliance, and cybersecurity risk management. Proficiency in vendor management, project management, and cloud computing. In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure and enterprise software systems. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Required Education A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Desired Skills Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or ITIL are a plus. Experience in a large-scale, multi-business corporate environment. Familiarity with emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Compensation & Benefits Berkshire Hathaway offers a competitive compensation package, including an annual salary range of $60,000 to $81,000, based on experience and qualifications.
