Position Summary Paul Hastings is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Quantitative Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. This is a fully remote position, allowing the successful candidate to work from anywhere in the United States. As a Lead Quantitative Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytical models, providing actionable insights, and driving data-informed decision-making across the firm. You will play a key role in shaping our data strategy and ensuring its alignment with business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of statistical modeling, data mining techniques, and business intelligence principles, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a distributed team environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain advanced analytical models to support various business functions, including finance, marketing, and operations. Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and develop data-driven solutions. Lead the design and implementation of data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate insights. Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and business intelligence. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the firm's data governance policies and procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, economics, or computer science. Master's degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or business intelligence. Strong proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or Python. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Excellent understanding of data mining techniques and machine learning algorithms. Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. Demonstrated experience using remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom. Compensation & Benefits The annual salary range for this remote Lead Quantitative Analyst position is $140,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
