Position Summary
Paul Hastings is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Quantitative Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. This is a fully remote position, allowing the successful candidate to work from anywhere in the United States. As a Lead Quantitative Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytical models, providing actionable insights, and driving data-informed decision-making across the firm. You will play a key role in shaping our data strategy and ensuring its alignment with business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of statistical modeling, data mining techniques, and business intelligence principles, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a distributed team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced analytical models to support various business functions, including finance, marketing, and operations.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
- Lead the design and implementation of data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate insights.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and business intelligence.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the firm's data governance policies and procedures.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and collaborative projects, ensuring seamless communication and coordination within the remote team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, economics, or computer science. Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or business intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent understanding of data mining techniques and machine learning algorithms.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Demonstrated experience using remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom.
- Must be able to maintain a reliable high-speed internet connection to support remote work.
Technical Requirements
To ensure a productive and successful remote work experience, the following technical requirements are essential:

Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this remote Lead Quantitative Analyst position is $140,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Paul Hastings offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
