Key Responsibilities for Mailroom Clerk:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages accurately and efficiently
- Process outgoing mail including preparing, sealing, and affixing postage
- Operate mailroom equipment such as postage meters, mail sorters, and copiers
- Maintain records of incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist with basic clerical tasks as needed to support office operations
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a mailroom or similar administrative role
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and external contacts
