Key Responsibilities for Managed Care Contract Specialist:
- Develop and negotiate managed care contracts with insurance providers to ensure favorable terms and conditions for GE HealthCare.
- Analyze contract performance metrics and provide recommendations for contract optimization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align contract terms with organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively adjust contract strategies.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managed care contracting within the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and contract negotiation principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex contract terms and financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
- Professional certification in healthcare contracting or managed care.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Managed Care Contract Specialist position at GE HealthCare in Charleston, West Virginia is $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience.
