Key Responsibilities for Medical Office Coordinator:
- Coordinate and oversee daily operations of the medical office
- Schedule patient appointments and manage physician calendars
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain electronic health records and ensure accuracy of patient information
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage
- Assist with billing and coding procedures
- Handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to optimize workflow efficiency
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy laws
- Contribute to a positive work environment and promote teamwork among colleagues
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
- Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare administration role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic health records systems
- Knowledge of insurance verification and billing processes

Desired Skills:
- Certification in Medical Office Administration or related field

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience
