Key Responsibilities For Medical Office Manager:
The Medical Office Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily office operations and administrative staff, ensuring efficient and effective patient care support.
- Implementing and maintaining office policies and procedures to comply with medical regulations and Encompass Health's standards.
- Managing patient scheduling, registration, and billing processes to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Coordinating with healthcare providers and support staff to facilitate multidisciplinary team collaboration.
- Preparing, managing, and monitoring the office budget, including medical supplies and equipment.
- Ensuring strict confidentiality of medical records and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Addressing patient inquiries and resolving issues to maintain high patient satisfaction.
- Conducting regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance and ensure adherence to healthcare standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical office management, preferably in a healthcare facility.
- Proven knowledge of healthcare systems, medical terminology, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a track record of managing administrative staff and office operations effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical billing software.
- Certification in medical office management (e.g., CMOM) is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
