Key Responsibilities For Mortgage Loan Officer:

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer in a banking or financial institution.
- Strong understanding of mortgage lending regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
Desired Skills:
- Mortgage loan origination experience in the Richmond, Virginia market.
- Knowledge of mortgage software systems and tools for application processing.
- Certification as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to analyze financial data, assess risk, and make informed lending decisions.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Mortgage Loan Officer position at SoFi in Richmond, Virginia is $60,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience.
