Key Responsibilities for Nurse:
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Administer local anaesthetics
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures
- Handle patient inquiries and provide assistance as required
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
- Previous experience in a clinical setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a dental practice
- Additional training in dental nursing
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Fluency in additional languages
- CPR certification
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Nurse position at Dental Practices in Belfast is £25,000 to £30,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
