Key Responsibilities for Office Administrator:
- Manage office operations and administrative functions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies
- Assist in organizing and scheduling meetings, appointments, and events
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels
- Handle incoming and outgoing communication, including emails and phone calls
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Support the team with administrative tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or relevant role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
Desired Skills:
- Experience with office management software
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, fax machines)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Office Administrator position at Microsoft in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is $45,000 to $55,000, commensurate with experience.
