Key Responsibilities for Office Administrator:
- Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the office
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Maintain electronic and paper records ensuring information is organized and easily accessible
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or relevant role
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Experience with office management software (e.g., MS Office 365)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience in the financial services industry is an asset
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Office Administrator position at RBC in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada is between $40,000 to $50,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
