Key Responsibilities For Patient Access Representative:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Register patients by verifying demographic information and insurance coverage
- Collect patient co-payments and financial responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards
- Assist patients with financial assistance programs and insurance inquiries
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity in all interactions

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient registration or related roles
- Proficient in medical terminology and insurance verification processes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Desired Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- Certification in Healthcare Access Management (CHAM)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or other languages
- Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing procedures
- Experience with revenue cycle management

Compensation & Benefits:
