Key Responsibilities For Patient Experience Manager:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and enhance overall patient experience within Optum's facilities in Richmond, Virginia.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in patient interactions, communication, and service delivery.
- Conduct regular assessments and analysis of patient feedback data to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing the patient experience.
- Lead training sessions for staff members on best practices for patient engagement, empathy, and communication skills.
- Implement initiatives to ensure compliance with patient experience standards and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patient-related concerns and escalations, resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Monitor and evaluate patient satisfaction metrics and develop action plans to address any areas of improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in a healthcare setting, with a minimum of 3 years in a patient experience or customer service role.
- Strong understanding of patient experience principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive performance improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
- Certification in Patient Experience (CPXP) is a plus.
- Experience with implementing technology solutions to enhance the patient experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare quality improvement methodologies.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Patient Experience Manager position at Optum in Richmond, Virginia is $70,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
