Key Responsibilities For Penetration Tester:
- Conducting penetration testing on Salesforce's systems, applications, and networks to identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks.
- Performing ethical hacking activities to simulate real-world cyber-attacks and assess the effectiveness of existing security measures.
- Documenting findings, preparing detailed reports, and providing recommendations for remediation to enhance the overall security posture.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Penetration Tester or Ethical Hacker in a corporate environment.
- In-depth knowledge of penetration testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web applications.
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or CISSP are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms and technologies, preferably Salesforce.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Penetration Tester position at Salesforce in Miami, Florida is $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
