Key Responsibilities For Personal Banking Officer:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their day-to-day banking needs, inquiries, and issue resolution
- Conduct financial assessments and recommend appropriate banking products and services to meet clients' needs
- Process account transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently
- Promote and cross-sell Scotiabank products and services to enhance customer relationships and achieve sales targets
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and contribute to branch success
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role within the banking or financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and procedures
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Desired Skills:
- Experience with financial analysis and lending processes
- Proficiency in multiple languages to serve diverse customer needs
- Professional certifications such as the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Personal Financial Planner (PFP)
- Familiarity with banking software and digital platforms for efficient customer service delivery
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Personal Banking Officer position at Scotiabank in Brampton, Ontario, Canada is between $45,000 to $55,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
