Key Responsibilities for Pharmacist:
- Dispensing prescription medications to patients and ensuring accuracy in dosage and instructions
- Providing advice to patients on the use and side effects of medications
- Collaborating with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medication records
- Monitoring prescription medications for potential interactions with dental treatments
- Ordering, storing, and managing pharmaceutical supplies in compliance with regulations
- Participating in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognised institution
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in a clinical setting
- Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical guidelines and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desired Skills:
- Experience in a dental or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of dental-specific medications and treatments
- Experience in compounding medications
- Familiarity with electronic prescription systems
- Ability to provide patient education on medication management
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Pharmacist position at Dental Practices in Leicester, East Midlands, is £35,000 to £45,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
