Position Summary

BlueScope Steel is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our remote team. This role will focus on providing specialized orthopedic assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to employees, ensuring optimal recovery and functional improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in musculoskeletal care, patient education, and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive orthopedic assessments to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Design and implement rehabilitation exercise programs tailored to patients' needs and recovery goals.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management techniques, and long-term wellness strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and case managers to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote physical therapy services effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 11 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a focus on orthopedic care.
• Proficiency in orthopedic assessment and treatment, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and supervising rehabilitation exercises for musculoskeletal injuries.
• Strong ability to provide clear and effective patient education on injury management and prevention.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.

Required Education

A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required. Advanced certifications in orthopedic or sports physical therapy are a plus.

Desired Skills

• Experience with telehealth or remote patient care delivery.
• Certification in dry needling, cupping, or other advanced manual therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with industrial rehabilitation and workplace injury prevention programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for remote patient interactions.

Compensation & Benefits

BlueScope Steel offers a competitive salary range of $57,000 to $101,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
