Key Responsibilities For Plumber:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems meet project requirements
- Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Required Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Plumbing
- Gas Safe registration for working on gas systems
- Proven experience as a plumber in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations in the UK
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- Additional qualifications in related trades such as heating or ventilation
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
