Key Responsibilities for Plumber:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems meet building codes and standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service and address client queries and concerns professionally
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a plumber in the construction industry
- Relevant plumbing qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent)
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations in the UK
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills:
- Gas Safe Register certification
- Experience with renewable energy systems (e.g., solar water heating)
- Knowledge of sustainable plumbing practices
- Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment
- Willingness to undergo further training and development
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
