Position Summary

Boies Schiller Flexner LLP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Cybersecurity Analyst - DevOps to join our dynamic Technology team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the USA. As a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst - DevOps, you will play a critical role in securing our cloud infrastructure, automating security processes, and implementing security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions that protect our sensitive data and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of DevOps principles, cloud security, and security automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for our cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Automate security processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) principles.
  • Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of applications and infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor security alerts and respond to security incidents.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Lead security training and awareness programs for development and operations teams.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings and collaborate effectively with remote colleagues.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our security posture.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on DevOps and cloud security.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Experience with cloud security technologies and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Experience with security automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform).
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must reside in the United States.

Technical Requirements

As a remote employee at Boies Schiller, you must maintain a professional and productive home office environment. The following technical requirements are essential:

Compensation & Benefits
