Key Responsibilities for Program Officer:
- Develop and implement programs and initiatives to support community development goals
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure program objectives are met
- Monitor program budgets and expenditures to ensure financial accountability
- Prepare reports and presentations on program outcomes and impact
- Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements for future initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to promote program awareness and participation

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management or community development
- Strong understanding of government policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in project management and budget oversight
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in Public Policy or a relevant field
- Experience working in a municipal government setting
- Knowledge of local community needs and resources
- Certification in project management (PMP) or related field
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French

Compensation & Benefits:
The City of Vancouver offers a competitive salary range for the Program Officer position, ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 CAD per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
