Key Responsibilities for Program Officer:
- Develop and implement program initiatives in alignment with strategic objectives
- Conduct research, analysis, and evaluations to support program effectiveness
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program success
- Monitor program budgets, expenditures, and performance indicators
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in program management or related role
- Strong knowledge of government policies, procedures, and regulations
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in Public Policy or related field
- Project management certification (PMP)
- Experience working in the public sector or with government agencies
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French

Compensation & Benefits:
The Province of British Columbia offers a competitive salary range for the Program Officer position, ranging from $65,000 to $80,000 CAD per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the salary, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and pension plan options.
