Position Summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our remote team. This role is pivotal in overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with building codes, managing budgets, and coordinating with contractors and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of construction project management to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost control measures and financial reporting.
  • Create and maintain detailed construction schedules, adjusting as needed to accommodate project changes.
  • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct regular site inspections (virtually or in-person as required) to assess progress and quality.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to project timelines and deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 to 9 years of experience in construction project management or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial management.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage construction schedules.
  • Experience coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity.

Required Education

A PhD in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is required for this position.

Desired Skills

  • Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification.
  • Experience in large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

Compensation & Benefits

Sherwin-Williams offers a competitive salary range of $64,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
