Key Responsibilities for Project Manager:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Manage project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, to drive project success
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with clients and key stakeholders
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members to foster a positive working environment
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- PMP certification is an asset
Desired Skills:
- Experience working on LEED-certified projects
- Knowledge of sustainable construction practices
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with diverse project teams and stakeholders
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Project Manager position at Stantec in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada is $80,000 - $110,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
