Position Summary
Doist is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Document Review Attorney to join our growing legal team. As a Regulatory Document Review Attorney, you will play a critical role in ensuring Doist's compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. You will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting legal documents related to corporate governance, data privacy, and other regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate law, excellent research and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze legal documents, including contracts, policies, and procedures, to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance on regulatory matters related to corporate governance, data privacy, and other relevant areas.
- Identify and assess potential legal risks and recommend solutions to mitigate those risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement compliance programs.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations that may impact Doist's business.
- Prepare reports and presentations on regulatory compliance matters.
- Assist with other legal projects as needed.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to a collaborative remote work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in at least one US state.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory document review, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and other relevant regulations.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using legal research databases and other online resources.
- Proven ability to thrive in a remote work environment, including strong self-discipline, time management, and communication skills.
Technical Requirements
To ensure a productive remote work experience, the following technical requirements must be met:
- Dedicated home office space free from distractions.
- High-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed).
- Reliable computer with a modern operating system (Windows 10 or later, or macOS 10.15 or later).
- Webcam and microphone for virtual meetings.
- Comfortable headset for clear communication.
- Due to team meeting schedules, Pacific Time Zone (PST) working hours are strongly preferred, or a willingness to overlap significantly with PST.
Doist provides a one-time home office stipend to help you set up your workspace.

Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this fully remote position is $110,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience and location. Doist offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
