Position Summary:
GitLab is seeking a talented BI Developer to join our dynamic remote team. As a Remote BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement BI solutions to meet business requirements
- Design and optimize data models for efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements
- Create and maintain data visualizations and reports for stakeholders
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within BI systems
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Effective communication skills for remote team collaboration
Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office with high-speed internet connectivity
- Proficient in using remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom)
- Comfortable working in a distributed team across different time zones
- Familiarity with GitLab or willingness to learn about our remote work culture
Desired Skills:
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing
- Knowledge of cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary range of $80,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience
