Position Summary:
DigitalOcean is seeking a talented BI Developer to join our remote team. As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization. This remote role offers the opportunity to work independently while being an integral part of a dynamic distributed team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement BI solutions to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements
- Create and maintain documentation for BI solutions and processes
- Optimize and tune BI applications for performance and scalability
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI solutions

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and database management systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote team interactions

Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office with high-speed internet connectivity
- Proficient in using remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Jira)
- Comfortable working in a flexible schedule to accommodate team meetings across different time zones

Desired Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
