Position Summary:
As a Remote Call Center Representative at TransferWise, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional support and resolving inquiries efficiently. This fully remote role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls professionally and courteously
- Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions effectively
- Document customer interactions accurately in the CRM system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns
- Meet or exceed performance targets and quality metrics
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer service or call center role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a remote setting
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other customer support tools
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office setup
- Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings based on business needs
Technical Requirements:
- Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps for download and 10 Mbps for upload
- Quiet workspace conducive to phone conversations and video calls
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, and Google Workspace
- Comfortable working in Eastern or Central time zones to align with team meetings and customer support coverage
Desired Skills:
- Additional language proficiency is a plus
- Experience in the fintech or financial services industry
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies
Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive annual salary range of $40,000 to $55,000 for Remote Call Center Representatives at TransferWise. In addition, you will receive a home office stipend or equipment, flexible working hours, virtual onboarding, access to remote team collaboration tools, virtual team building activities, and occasional travel for team meetups.
