Position Summary:
As a Remote Data Engineer at BetterHelp, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support our analytics and reporting needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines to support data analytics and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Optimize data processes for efficiency and accuracy
- Monitor data quality and troubleshoot issues proactively
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database technologies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a remote team setting

Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office space with high-speed internet connection
- Comfortable working remotely and managing own schedule effectively
- Availability for team meetings within Pacific to Eastern Time Zones
- Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace

Desired Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
- Strong communication skills for effective remote team collaboration

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary range of $90,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience
