Position Summary:
As a Remote HR Business Partner at Upwork, you will play a pivotal role in driving HR strategies and initiatives to support our distributed workforce. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance employee engagement, performance, and development in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to provide HR guidance on talent management, employee relations, and performance management
- Develop and implement remote-friendly HR programs and policies to support a diverse workforce
- Conduct remote onboarding sessions and training programs for new hires
- Manage employee relations issues and conflict resolution in a virtual environment
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to identify and attract top remote talent

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in HR business partnering roles, preferably in a remote work environment
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws in the USA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote team interactions
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders remotely

Technical Requirements:
- Fully equipped home office with high-speed internet connectivity
- Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace
- Comfortable working in a flexible schedule to accommodate different time zones within the USA

Desired Skills:
- SHRM certification or equivalent HR credentials
- Experience in implementing HRIS systems for remote workforce management
- Knowledge of remote team building strategies and engagement initiatives
- Ability to analyze HR metrics and data to drive insights and decision-making

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive annual salary range of $90,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience.
