Position Summary:
As a Remote HR Manager at TransferWise, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our remote HR and talent acquisition strategies. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR operations, from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and performance management, ensuring a positive employee experience in our distributed team setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored for remote work environment
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
- Manage employee relations, performance reviews, and career development initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance remote team dynamics and productivity
- Stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends to drive continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a remote or tech-driven environment
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices for remote workforce
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with remote team members effectively
- Proven track record in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing business needs in a remote setting
Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office space with high-speed internet connection
- Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace
- Comfortable working across different time zones and accommodating flexible working hours as needed
Desired Skills:
- SHRM certification or equivalent HR credentials
- Experience with HRIS systems and remote employee engagement platforms
- Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in remote work environments
Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive annual salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 commensurate with experience. In addition, TransferWise provides a home office stipend or equipment allowance, flexible working hours to accommodate various time zones, virtual onboarding processes, and access to top-notch remote team collaboration tools.
