Position Summary:
Amwell is seeking a talented Remote Learning & Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This remote role plays a crucial part in designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative learning and development programs tailored to our distributed workforce. The ideal candidate will have a passion for continuous learning, a strong understanding of remote work dynamics, and a creative approach to employee development in a virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging remote learning programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify learning needs and create targeted development solutions
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for program improvements
- Utilize remote learning platforms and tools to facilitate virtual training sessions and workshops
- Support the onboarding process for new hires by creating and delivering virtual orientation programs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, or related field
- Proven experience in designing and delivering remote learning programs
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for virtual delivery
- Ability to work independently and manage projects in a remote environment
Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office with high-speed internet access
- Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, and Google Workspace
- Comfortable working across different time zones to accommodate team members' schedules
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
- Certification in instructional design or training facilitation
- Ability to create interactive and engaging virtual learning content
- Strong analytical skills to measure training effectiveness and ROI
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience
