Position Summary:
As a Remote Network Engineer at Spotify, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security across our remote operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure to support remote work operations
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure minimal downtime
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement network security measures and protocols
- Monitor network performance and conduct regular assessments to optimize efficiency
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and training purposes

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer in a remote work environment
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security, and performance optimization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Proficient communication skills for remote team collaboration

Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office with high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps)
- Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and Jira
- Comfortable working in a flexible schedule with occasional overlap in Pacific Time Zone
- Familiarity with VPN setups, firewalls, and network monitoring tools

Desired Skills:
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+
- Experience with cloud networking technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of SD-WAN and software-defined networking principles

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary range: $80,000 - $110,000
