Position Summary:
As a Remote Release Manager at Hims & Hers, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the release process of our projects. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful software releases, while maintaining quality and efficiency in a remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule software releases, coordinating with development, QA, and product teams
- Implement release processes and policies to enhance productivity and minimize risks
- Conduct release readiness reviews and ensure release documentation is up-to-date
- Manage release notes and communication to stakeholders regarding release status
- Monitor release progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Release Manager or similar role in a remote work environment
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and release management best practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate remote teams effectively
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a virtual work setup
