Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Remote Scrum Master to join our remote team at Airbnb. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile practices and guiding our remote teams towards successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for remote teams.
- Coach team members on Agile principles and practices to improve collaboration and efficiency.
- Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the remote teams.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.
- Monitor team performance metrics and drive accountability for project deliverables in a remote setting.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a remote work environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage remote team members effectively.
- Ability to adapt Agile practices to suit the needs of a distributed team.
- Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM or PSM) is preferred.

Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office setup with high-speed internet connectivity.
- Proficient in using remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Jira.
- Comfortable working in a flexible schedule with occasional overlap in Pacific Time Zone.

Desired Skills:
- Experience with remote team building activities and virtual icebreakers.
- Familiarity with virtual whiteboarding tools for remote collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in a distributed team setup.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Remote Scrum Master position at Airbnb is $90,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience.
