Position Summary:

- Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and virtual communication platforms
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office setup
Technical Requirements:
- Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps for seamless virtual collaboration
- Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and GitHub
- Flexible working hours with availability for team meetings based on Eastern Time Zone
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Desired Skills:
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements
Compensation & Benefits:
GitHub offers a competitive annual salary range for Remote Solutions Architects in the range of $110,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to the market-rate salary, employees enjoy remote-specific benefits such as a home office stipend or equipment provision, flexible working hours, virtual onboarding process, and virtual team building activities. Occasional travel may be required for team meetups, with expenses covered by the company.
