Position Summary:
As a Remote UI/UX Designer at Basecamp, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience of our products. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work from anywhere in the USA, providing you with the flexibility to design in a comfortable and inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user needs
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for web and mobile applications
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback for iterative design improvements
- Ensure consistency in design elements and maintain brand identity across all platforms

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and process
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and Basecamp

Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office setup with high-speed internet access

Compensation & Benefits:
Basecamp offers a competitive annual salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 for the Remote UI/UX Designer position, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide remote-specific benefits such as a home office stipend or equipment, flexible working hours to accommodate various time zones, virtual onboarding process, and virtual team building activities. Occasional travel may be required for team meetups, with expenses covered by the company.
