Position Summary

Robinhood is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Business Intelligence Analyst with strong statistical analysis skills to join our growing Business Intelligence team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth data analysis, developing statistical models, and generating actionable insights to drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, marketing, and operations, to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the overall success of Robinhood.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain statistical models to predict user behavior, optimize marketing campaigns, and improve product performance.
• Design and implement A/B tests to evaluate the impact of product changes and marketing initiatives.
• Create clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in data analysis, statistical modeling, and business intelligence.
• Participate actively in virtual team meetings and contribute to a collaborative and supportive remote work environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or business intelligence.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with statistical software packages such as R or Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Technical Requirements

To be successful in this remote role, you will need to meet the following technical requirements:

• A dedicated home office space free from distractions.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 50 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
• A personal computer with sufficient processing power and memory to run necessary software.
• A webcam and headset for virtual meetings.
• Must be available to work during core business hours in the Pacific Time Zone (PT).
• Familiarity with remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.

Desired Skills

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Knowledge of financial markets and the fintech industry.
• Experience with machine learning techniques.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience and location. Robinhood offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
