Key Responsibilities for Restaurant Manager:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Manage and train restaurant staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, control costs, and achieve financial targets.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus and dining experiences.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
- Ensure adherence to Four Seasons' service standards and uphold the hotel's brand reputation.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and suppliers.
- Proven track record of achieving financial targets and managing operational budgets.
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Food Safety Certification and Smart Serve Certification (or equivalent) required.
Desired Skills:
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management or related field is an asset.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Multilingual proficiency is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial reports and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility in managing competing priorities.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 CAD per year, commensurate with experience.
