Key Responsibilities for Scrum Master:
- Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor the development team on Agile principles and practices to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Remove impediments to the team's progress and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product owners to refine and prioritise the product backlog.
- Monitor and report on team performance metrics to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a technology or IT environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile frameworks and principles.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Jira or other Agile project management tools.
- Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.
- Previous experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Additional Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Scrum Master position at EE in Cambridge, East of England, is £45,000 to £60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
