Key Responsibilities for Site Supervisor:
- Oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and Stantec project managers to ensure project milestones are met
- Implement and enforce Stantec's health and safety policies and procedures on-site
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or deviations from project plans
- Keep detailed records of project progress, including daily reports, photos, and documentation
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, to provide updates on project status and address any concerns

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations in Canada
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage on-site teams and interact with stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation to travel to various project sites as needed

Desired Skills:
- Certification in construction management or a related field is an asset
- Proficiency in using construction management software for project scheduling and reporting
- Experience working on LEED-certified projects or other sustainable construction initiatives
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Site Supervisor position at Stantec in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, is between $60,000 to $80,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
