Key Responsibilities for Social Worker:
- Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized care plans

- Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources within the community

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
- Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and social service programs in Ontario
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Experience in conducting assessments and developing care plans for diverse client populations
Desired Skills:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- Experience working with marginalized or vulnerable populations
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
- Certification in specialized areas such as mental health or addictions counseling
Compensation & Benefits:
The Province of Quebec offers a competitive salary range for Social Workers in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
