Key Responsibilities for Social Worker:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' social and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support patients in coping with their health conditions.
- Advocate for patients' rights and access to community resources.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Registered Social Worker (RSW) designation in Alberta.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinical environment.
- Strong knowledge of social work principles, ethics, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including seniors, individuals with mental health issues, and marginalized communities.
- Knowledge of Alberta's healthcare system and community resources.
- Fluency in multiple languages to support language-diverse patients.
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Social Worker position at Rexall Pharma Plus in Airdrie, Alberta, is between $60,000 to $75,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
