Position Summary

DuPont is seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects, document issues, and verify fixes, contributing to the delivery of high-performance software solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Document and report bugs using established tracking systems, providing clear and actionable feedback to development teams.
  • Conduct regression testing to verify fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to refine requirements and improve testing processes.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 to 13 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in quality assurance processes and testing methodologies (manual and automated).
  • Experience with bug tracking and reporting tools.
  • Strong skills in test case development and execution.
  • Familiarity with regression testing and defect lifecycle management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote teams.

Required Education

A Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Compensation & Benefits

DuPont offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $59,000 to $113,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
