Key Responsibilities for Staff Accountant:

- Assist in month-end and year-end financial close processes

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounting roles
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines
Desired Skills:
- CPA certification or working towards certification
- Experience with Xero accounting software
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Staff Accountant position at Xero in Houston, Texas is $55,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience.
