Key Responsibilities for Stock Clerk:
- Receive, unpack, and label incoming shipments of merchandise
- Organize and maintain inventory levels in storage areas and on the sales floor
- Ensure accurate and timely stocking of products according to company guidelines
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in inventory management processes
- Collaborate with the sales team to fulfill customer orders and maintain product availability
- Keep storage areas clean, organized, and free from safety hazards
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is an asset
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic math skills for inventory management
Desired Skills:
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a retail setting
- Customer service experience to assist with inquiries and provide support
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Stock Clerk position at Loblaw Companies in Longueuil, Quebec, is between $30,000 to $35,000 CAD, commensurate with experience.
