Key Responsibilities for Stock Controller:
- Manage and control the flow of inventory in and out of the warehouse
- Monitor stock levels and conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock
- Utilise inventory management software to track and update stock movements
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in stock levels
- Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline stock handling processes
- Prepare regular reports on stock levels, trends, and variances for management review
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar role in a logistics or warehouse environment
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid forklift truck license (desirable but not essential)
